Leave Lisbon for the emerald peaks and sapphire waters of Arrábida. Navigate dramatic coastal roads where limestone cliffs meet hidden turquoise coves. From the panoramic heights of the mountain ridge to the artisanal charm of Azeitão.
About this tour
Most visitors to Lisbon never cross the river to the south, and miss one of the most beautiful places in Portugal. In the Arrábida Natural Park, green limestone mountains plunge into water so clear and turquoise it looks more like the Mediterranean than the Atlantic.
Your driver takes you along the high road of the Serra da Arrábida to the best viewpoints, down to the hidden coves below the cliffs, and inland to the village of Azeitão, known for its creamy sheep's cheese and Moscatel wine. Add a hands-on workshop and paint your own traditional Portuguese tile to take home.

Can we swim during the tour?
In the warm months, yes, if you want to spend time at one of the coves. Tell us when booking so we allow enough time.
What is the tile workshop?
A relaxed hands-on session where you paint your own traditional Portuguese azulejo tile with a local artisan. It adds about an hour and costs +14€ per person.
Is Arrábida worth it outside summer?
Absolutely. The views and the colour of the water are stunning all year, and the roads and viewpoints are much quieter.
