A sophisticated journey through Lisbon's oldest quarters — Alfama and Baixa. After uncovering the city's hidden history on land, your driver escorts you to the docks for a private sailboat ride. Watch the city's seven hills unfold from the Tagus River for an unforgettable finale.
About this tour
Lisbon was built by and for the river. This tour shows you both sides of the city: first the old quarters on land, then the whole panorama from the water, the way sailors first saw it.
Your driver takes you to the top of Alfama and through the elegant grid of Baixa, then on to the marina for about two hours of sailing on the Tagus. From the deck you see the castle walls, the 25 de Abril Bridge, the Cristo Rei statue and the monuments of Belém, with nothing but the sound of the wind.

Frequently asked questions
Is this tour private?
Yes. Every Black Key tour is private: the vehicle and driver are reserved for your group only, and you never share with strangers.
Is the sailboat private?
Tell us your preference when booking. We can arrange a private sailboat for your group, or a shared sunset cruise for a lower price.
Is the boat trip suitable for people who get seasick?
The Tagus estuary is generally much calmer than the open sea, and sailboats move gently. If you are sensitive to motion, choose a calm-weather day and sit on deck in the fresh air.
Is this good for a special occasion?
Yes, it is one of our favourites for anniversaries and proposals. Tell us in advance and we can arrange a wine and cheese cruise or time the sail for sunset.
Is a guide included?
The tour includes your private driver. A certified guide is optional and costs +80€ per group. Guides bring the history and stories behind each stop, and are available in several languages on request.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. The route below is our recommended plan, not a fixed script. Tell us what matters most to you and we will adapt the stops and the timing.
